Missfelder
missfelder is the solo project of the Zurich songwriter Manuel Missfelder.
Manuel Missfelder likes guitars. And poppy melodies. He listens to Lana Del Rey as well as Metallica. And you can hear that in his music: missfelder is able to combine big choruses with guitar rock. In doing so, he playfully dances back and forth between the worlds of pop and rock and refers to his genre - quite cheekily - as "rock'n'pop".
It all started for him with a music competition at the KV Business School, where he came second. And more importantly, the foundation stone was laid. His talent as a songwriter and singer could not be ignored. He subsequently completed a one-year music and performance training course at the "Voice and Music Academy" in Zurich.
Together with Julian Wepfer (formerly Tinkabelle or Between Even) he produced his debut album "As Above, So Below" during 2017. "Are you ready for me?", it says in the song "Hammer Down" and this is exactly what Manuel wants to find out and carry his vision on stage together with his band.
This was followed in 2022 by the first co-production with Helly Kumpusch from the record label Hellywood Records: the five-song EP "Heavy Rain".
